My Top 10 Favorite Movies

Have you ever been asked what your favorite movie was before, and you had trouble answering? So, you thought to yourself, “what IS my favorite move?” Well, I did get asked  this question, and I had to really evaluate my answer.

I found I struggled to rank them mostly because I feel like I love them all equally. This list varies in genre, time period, and audience but I do believe the world is a better place with them in it.

10. Sex and the City

9. The Holiday

8. Dead Poet’s Society

7. Horrible Bosses

6. Remember the Titans

5. How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days

4. The Notebook

3. Christmas Vacation

2. The Great Gatsby

1.  Armageddon

The comedies, “Horrible Bosses” and “Christmas Vacation” are timeless. I know every line by heart and yet still laugh so hard that I cry.

With “Dead Poet’s Society” and “Remember the Titans”, you learn a lesson. They both pull on your heart strings and cause you to discover your sensitive side.

“Sex and the City”, “The Holiday” and “How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days” are romantic comedies that make you laugh, cry, and believe in happy endings.

As for “The Notebook” and “The Great Gatsby”, well… their love story is incredibly powerful and inspirational. Love is tragic. However, love is not always lost.

Lastly, we have “Armageddon”.  It has action. It has comedy. It has love. And, it has tragedy. It also has the best love song ever produced.

You would have to see these movies to truly understand their power, their laughs, and their magic.
